It makes us proud to know that we're part of a
motorcycling community that can look back and know that over $1.6 million has
been raised since 1992, by you, the motorcyclists, to fund the "Home of New
Beginnings" and "Baby Mobiles". All you have to do to get
involved is:
Raise Money - Collect donations from everyone you know. Contributions
can be made to MARCH OF DIMES by cash, check, VISA, MasterCard, Discover or

Friday, 9/26/97 - Celebrity Kick-Off Party: Begins at 6:00 p.m. until
11:00 p.m. (Location to be announced). Entertainment, live auction and
celebrity autographs.
Saturday, 9/27/97 - Atlanta Ride-Rally - 9:00
a.m. - 7:00 p.m., admission $5.00 adults, children under 12 free. Fun filled
family day with vendors for all brands, music, door prizes, 50/50 drawing, Ride
Pre-Registration, field events, Poker Run, Bike Show, demo rides & lots
more.
Sunday, 9/28/97 - Ride Day - Registration from 7:00 a.m. tsic, awards
and giveaway drawing for 2 motorcycles!Everyone has the opportunity to earn
great premiums for all their hard work!

your plans now for September 26 - 28, 1997! The urgency of the March of Dimes
is evident. Georgia ranks 5th highest infant mortality rate in the nation,
highest in the nation in teenage pregnancy. March of Dimes was founded in 1938,
by President Franklin D. Roosevelt, and is the only voluntary health agency that
accomplished its original mission - we found a cure for polio. Everyday in
Georgia more than 300 babies are born. Too many Georgia infants are affected by
one or more risk factors that make healthy development more difficult.
27 babies are born low birth weight (under 5 lbs. 8 oz.)
40 school age girls (under 18) get pregnant
30 school age girls (under 18) have babies
70 babies are born to high school dropouts
53 babies are born to unwed
mothers
33 babies are born to mothers who smoke and drank
57 babies are born to mothers without prenatal care
3 babies are born with a birth defect
3 babies die before their first
birthday
